About this Scholarship

The purpose of the Russell Legacy: Women in STEM Scholarship Fund is to recognize and support exceptional students who have demonstrated a passion for and commitment to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Preference may be given to applicants who identify as female, with the aim of promoting gender diversity and representation in STEM fields, and those who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship has the potential to be renewed for up to three additional years. Reapplication each year is required.

Key Criteria

Graduating senior from a public High School in Lewis, Mason, or Thurston counties planning to pursue studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering or math at a four-year college or university. (Renewable)

  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
  • Grade Transcript
