Joyful Hands is a nonprofit that provides a hearty breakfast every Saturday morning to homeless individuals like Sean. Rain or shine, hot or cold, Mama Dee and her group of volunteers provide a great meal with an even greater sense of caring. "I'm grateful for the food ... and especially the coffee," Sean said on a cold Saturday morning.
The circa 1860 Bigelow House is a historical and architectural landmark listed in the national, state, and local registers of historic places. The Olympia Historical Society and Bigelow House Museum are committed to stewarding the building to meet National Park Service preservation and rehabilitation standards.
